Natural beauty is everywhere around Emerson Ranch. If you’re in the mood for a hike, get out to the local parks to explore the trails and take in the views.
Head to the famous Mount Diablo State Park and hike to the summit to take in sprawling views of the low hills and flat valleys below. For a more relaxed getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city, bring the kids and head over to Las Trampas Regional Wilderness to enjoy a picnic and a hike through the scenic trails.
Looking for a longer escape to nature? Briones Regional Park has ground campsites available for reservation. Stay for a weekend to birdwatch and see if you can spot other wildlife, like the black-tailed deer. Take part in some archery or head out to explore some of the hiking trails in the park.
For adventurers who prefer wide open flatlands and smaller hills, Round Valley Regional Preserve has a variety of unique wildlife, including herds of seasonal grazing cattle. Head over to the preserve for some hiking, horseback riding and beautiful views.
At Emerson Ranch, adventure is right outside your door.
