Keeping Your Resolutions

The new year means that everyone is diving into their resolutions. And whatever your resolution may be, we’ve got you covered with a few tips on how to stay motivated this year.

The first step to keeping your New Year’s resolution is finding a realistic and reachable goal that you want to accomplish. Then, whatever your ultimate goal may be, break it down into smaller goals. This way, you can still achieve smaller successes while working toward your big goal.

Once you have your smaller goals laid out, make a timeline with realistic deadlines and write it all down. Having an action plan that you can see and stick to will help you stay on target.

If you’re the creative type, try your hand at a New Year’s vision board and place it where you will see it every day. You can even create a vision board with the whole family as a fun way for everyone to get involved. Friends and family are your go-to support system for staying motivated.

Last but certainly not least, track your progress. Whether you are writing in a designated notebook or creating a scrapbook to document your journey, keeping on top of what you have accomplished is one of the best ways to reward your hard work.
